Needless to say I’m excited to be featured in the Daisy Column’s Chic of the Week for the hat I wore to the Vizcaya Hat Luncheon. There were so many beautiful pieces worn. Her venue fee (the famed Castello Orsini-Odescalchi in Rome) cost $500,000.00 and her entertainment included the Royal Philharmonic, Andrea Bocelli, Eric Clapton and the Black Eyed Peas. Wowza.

Kim Kardashian’s Wedding

I actually don’t have much to say about Kim Kardashian’s wedding. It was a big production (literally and figuratively). She looked beautiful, but not really different than she always looks. And she was dripping in $15 million dollars worth of diamonds. Somehow I am still underwhelmed. I can’t put my finger on it, but it is as if the soul of the wedding was missing. Every wedding, over the top or not, should have a “spirit.” I hope I feel different when I watch the special on E! I will be tuned in for all 240 minutes because you know lots of trends will be born from this wedding! In the meanwhile, I am happy she took my advice on the headpiece. Those diamonds are stunning.

Dylan Lauren’s Wedding Dress

So excited to see the Vogue September issue to get more details on Dylan Lauren’s wedding. We do have a peek of her wedding dress designed by her father Ralph Lauren, who also consulted grande dame Vera Wang to perfect his creation. It must have been a special feeling to have worn a dress made for her by her daddy. I think he did an amazing job. I would have opted for a bare shoulder instead of that piece string over her shoulder, but it suits her beautifully nonetheless.

A Maybach as your Wedding Getaway Car

If there is one thing my grooms feel strongly about it is the wedding getaway car. I mean how cute was Prince William and Princess Kate’s vintage getaway car? The married couple left the Buckingham Palace reception in a 1969 Aston Martin DB6 that was given to Prince Charles by the Queen as a 21st birthday. BUT, the hottest getaway car in my book right now is the dashingly sexy Maybach. It is pure luxe at its finest and one of the most exclusive and sought after luxury vehicles. I wouldn’t object.

P.S. Did I hear you ask who that dashingly sexy superimposed couple is? That would be me and mine. Seven years later, I still love my daper man and my pearl-beaded Chantilly lace and silk Badgley Mischka dress!

I could spend hours upon hours swooning over beautiful shoes. In fact, I often do just that. No matter how many times I see this Giuseppe Zanotti shoe, I always have to “click again.” A very romantic shoe for that romantic bride.

@FutureMrsBosh is now @MrsBosh – and a very pretty bride at that in classic Oscar de la Renta gown(s). I’d love to see pictures of the decor. From a few glimpses on twitter it looks modern/clean but I’d imagine there is a lot more to see. I was lucky enough to be considered to plan and design their wedding and met with them several times. Nice couple. Even nicer baby blue soled very likely diamond studded platform Christian Louboutins shoes Adrienne! All the best to the both of you.
